THE COLOR BAR GUIDELINES UPON OPENING DURING COMMUNITY QUARANTINE OPERATIONS WE ENCOURAGE OUR CLIENTS TO:
1. Book appointments before coming to the salon. At the start of resumption of our operations we may opt to implement “By Appointment Only”. Clients can book their appointment through the following means:

e. Book thru our FRIENDS OF THE COLOR BAR app
2. Book online consultation through ZOOM.
3. Cancel appointment if sick or not feeling well
4. Not bring companions unless absolutely necessary
5. Bring their own respective gears/materials:
a. Face masks
b. Face shields
c. Pens
d. Reading materials
e. Water
6. Minimize personal effects, belongings
7. Seek information regarding the salon: services menu, prices, rules and guidelines through our website, social media pages
8. Pay through online when possible.
REMINDERS BEFORE ENTERING THE SALON FOR SERVICE
1. Always wear your face mask. No mask, no entry.
2. Disinfect your soles with stomp map
3. You will be subject to a temperature check (At temp of 37.5 & up will be refused entry)
4. Spray your hands w/ alcohol
5. Answer our health questionnaires
6. Personal belongings will be subjected disinfection upon entry.
RULES WHEN INSIDE SALON
1. Always wear face mask
2. Practice social distancing– always keep 2 mtrs apart
3. Allow time for regular sanitation. In between services there will be a 10 min interval for sanitation.
4. Minimize conversations & body contact during service.
5. Avoid brining companions, unless absolutely necessary
6. Keep yourself informed – pertinent information is available in our website, IG and FB accts
7. For your safety, we won’t be providing reading materials
8. Right to reject– we reserve the right to reject clients who refuse to abide by the rules
EQUIPMENT PROTOCOLS
1. 1 meter distance between chairs
2. Floors will be marked for social distancing
3. Keep air flow through opening of doors and windows every once in a while. An air purified will also be provided.
4. Personal effects of staff will be disinfected and keep to the locker area.
5. Face masks available for clients.
6. Sanitation of equipment and tools are visible to clients.
7. Work station are sanitized before and after each service.
8. Cover porous furniture with plastic for ease of sanitation
9. No reading materials.
10. Availability of disposable menu services.

1. No physical contact during payment

GUIDELINES The following are guidelines followed by all staff of the salon.
SALON PREMISES
PRE-OPENING CLEANING
1. Clean & sanitize all surfaces (e.g. counter top, tables, chair, mirror, telephone, Keyboards, tablets, others) Spray w/ disinfectant cleaner.
30-MINS BEFORE OPENING
1. Spray with disinfectant cleaner all surfaces (e.g. counter top, tables, chair, mirror, telephone, Keyboards, tablets, etc) & let it sit for 10min or till dry.
DURING OPERATION
1. Spray & wipe with disinfectant cleaner every hour and/or every turn over of clients (which ever comes first) all counter top, tables, chair, mirror, floor, others (color/cut station).
2. TOILET– spray, wipe and disinfect every hour and/or for every use.
3. STATION– after every use, spray / wipe / disinfect – chairs, mirror, table, caddy, floor, others – 15mins allotted time before station can be used.
IMPLEMENTS (comb, brushes, clips, ear caps, etc) AFTER EVERY USE
1. Put in soiled bin
2. Wash & brush with soap and water
3. Soak in quaternary ammonium solution for 10mins
4. Place inside UV cabinet for 20mins
5. Wrap w/ cling wrap
6. Place in Clean Zone area
ROBES/CAPES AFTER EVERY USE
1. Place in soiled bin
2. Wash with soap and water
3. Spray disinfectant spray
4. Air dry
5.Spray with disinfectant spray
6. Dry for 10mins
7. Place and seal in a zip lock bag
